Library

Our school library provides a student-centred learning environment that acts as a hub to support productive interactions between students, teachers, information and resources, and to enhance digital literacy.

We have three physical spaces that house our fiction collection, including picture books, graphic novels and award-winning literature, where students can browse, be read to, or read on their own. These spaces are on each of our three campuses: Anglesea Library at the Junior School, Founders Lounge at the Middle School, and Jane Sargison Library at the Senior School.

Non-fiction and reference collections are housed throughout the school in classrooms and faculty spaces, as well as in our library spaces, so that they are readily available when required.

The Collegiate Library also operates digitally, and is available through the MyCollegiate portal. Students are staff are able to access the library catalogue, which includes a number of subscription services to multimedia information sources, academic journals and information presented to suit a range of literacy and age levels.

Our library’s physical and digital spaces are safe and welcoming spaces where our students can build a love of reading and learning, and feel supported to develop their digital literacy skills.
