A very warm welcome to all our new and returning students. We understand that while exciting, returning to school can also be a stressful process. Don’t worry – we’re here to support you. Below are some resources to help prepare you for the year ahead.

Technology Requirements
Devices for Kinder to Year 4
From Kinder to Year 1, students have a shared class set of iPads. Students in Years 2 to 4 have their own individual in-class iPads, provided by the school. Parents do not need to purchase a device.
Prescribed Device Program for Years 5 to 8
Middle School students need to purchase a HP Probook 11 EE x360 G6 to use for school work. The use of information technology is embedded within the curriculum at Collegiate.
Technical support and warranty-related issues are managed at the School through our ICT Team and external authorised HP repair company.

Laptops for Years 9 to 12
Year 9 to 12 students are welcome to bring any laptop they like, as long as it is modern and either Windows or Mac.
Windows devices must have a minimum operating system of either Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro. We cannot support Windows 10S.
Outside Hours Care
We offer an Outside School Hours Care program conducted in Alkira during term time. This is available to all Collegiate students aged 12 or younger. The program runs weekdays from 3 pm to 6 pm, except on public holidays. Bookings are made through the Program Coordinator or via the Early Learning Centre by contacting 6211 4953. Before School Care is also available at the Early Learning Centre between 7.30 am and 8.30 am.
The Vacation Care Program operates during term breaks and over the Christmas holidays. General closure is between Christmas and New Year’s Day, public holidays, Easter Tuesday and the Friday after the Royal Hobart Show Day. Special events and fun activities are planned for the children, including excursions to the beach, parks and places of interest.
